Peter Febo is the Chief Operating Officer of Kushner and is responsible for all the operations of the Kushner Companies. Prior to joining he was the Chief Executive Officer of Beam Living (a Blackstone Portfolio Company), where he launched Blackstone’s first ever multifamily operating platform that today supports over 15,000 apartments. Prior to Beam Living Peter was the Chief Operating Officer for Taconic Investment Partners where his responsibilities included oversight of commercial and residential asset management, operations, construction, and development projects. Prior to joining Taconic in 2008, he was the Regional Vice President for the New York-New Jersey metro region at Home Properties, overseeing the development and management of a 44-property, 8,500-unit portfolio valued at more than $1 billion. From 2003 to 2006, he was the Director of Investments for Midwest and East Coast assets at AvalonBay Communities. Peter began his career in 1996 at Tishman Speyer Properties as a Property Accountant, before being promoted to Senior Property Manager. During his tenure at Tishman Speyer, he was responsible for the redevelopment of 666 5th Avenue as well as various other commercial redevelopment projects throughout the United States. Peter earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the John Wiley School of Business at the State University of New York, Geneseo.
